I am using a data validation list pull down menu to select an item. When I go to the drop down arrow it starts in the middle so u cant see the list
any help to move it to the top so the list shows?

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
I cannot reproduce this behavior. It always starts at the top for me.
Is this a standard data validation drop-down on the worksheet, or is it on a user form?
How exactly was it created?
How is it being populated?
Also, which version of Excel are you using?

Note that if the cell already has a selection (so it is not empty), when you click on the drop-down, it will start with your selection (that is expected behavior).
But if the cell is empty, it should start showing the options from the top.

It points to a table on a different sheet in that workbook. the other list i use on that sheet works fine. Excel 2013

How exactly are you referencing that other table in the Data Validation?
Are you using a range reference, table reference, or named range reference?
