Hello everybody.

Code:
dim code as string

I have a string composed by 1474 characters.

When I define

Code:
code = "..........................................."

part of the string - located in the belove row - is red.

I suspect a maximum length for the string variable. Isn't it?

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
partly dependant on the file type / excel version

A variable length String can contain up to 2billion characters roughly, so that is not the issue.

There is a maximum number of characters per line of code.
You will need to split it up like
Code:
code = "........................" & _
      "............."
Although if it's all the same character, then there are simpler ways to do it.
