Storing data from array for later use

Fellow sufferers

My Excelsheet retrieves a lot of data into arrays. They stay in memory. Then a certain event (selecting a particular cell) is used to generate and display a graph (stacked bar).

The problem now is: when the file is saved, then reopened, the arrays are no longer there.
What is the best strategy to store the arrays so that they are available also after the sheet is re-opened?

Call the routine which loads the arrays from the Workbook_Open event, like this:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    Load_Arrays
End Sub

that code goes in the ThisWorkbook module.

My challenge is actually to write that rutine. How to store and how to retrieve the arrays?
