Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Highlight the column you want to not allow duplicates in, in my example I used column F

With the column highlighted, go to the Data tab, in the Data Tools section choose Data Validation.

In the window provided Allow: Custom, and insert this formula =COUNTIF(F:F,F1)<=1
