Stop or Remove File from trying to access external sources or websites

The file in question is created by me (let's call it "File X"). It is located in my company's Shared drive - where all my files are kept.

Another company (from Europe) sent us a file to fill out for them. When opened, it had a bunch of links to sites and sources that we don't have access to. In their document, they had 1 tab that i created.

File X links to 2 other files in my personal folder. I (mistakenly) moved the tab i created in Europe file to mine.

Now, when i "enable content", my file has 17 dialogue boxes that pop up before i can continue. I removed the imported tab, but the pop ups remain.

I removed any "names" in the Name Manager. Pop ups remain.
When i finally remove the 2 links to my personal folder (so there are no existing links), the pop ups go away. Now my 2 linked files do not have this problem.

The pop ups are:
"Cannot locate the internet server or proxy server"
"MS cannot access the file 'http:......."
"We cannot connect o file 'https:...."
Microsoft "Sign In" to open account "Transaction Comps"
"Cannot download the information you requested"
...rinse repeat a few more until it's 17

The only external links are my 2 internal files.
The Name Manager is empty.
There are no hyperlinks that i can find.
I've tried "Find/Replace" and can't find anything that might be connected.

Any ideas on how to stop the file from trying to find these external sources?
Thanks,
Cap
