I have users (1500) in various locations who are accessing my excel (via a link) file that is posted on our website. Seems most of the users computers are set up to open documents in internet explorer for some reason (which I dont know why anyone would want to). <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
The problem is that I have VBA that runs when they hit the submit button and when the excel is open in internet explorer vs excel the vba crashes and will not execute and then they call me. <o></o>
<o></o>
I know how to change the settings on the actual machine but I dont think thats effective as a solution in this situation. <o></o>
<o></o>
I was wondering if there was a way using vba or something else that when they clicked on the link on the website that I could force it to open in Excel?<o></o>
Any help on this topic is greatly appreciated!
