Hello Everyone,

First time posting here, but I use these forums a lot for answering questions, however, I could not find an answer to my current question. There are several similar questions out there, but none that seem to align with what I'm trying to do.

So I have a spreadsheet where I am keeping track for payroll for my nanny and I need to withhold taxes and calculate employer contributions throughout the year. This is fine and dandy, easy calculations for the most part. However, when you get to the Unemployment taxes that are due, you only calculate the percentage you pay out as an employer to a certain gross dollar amount earned. For Fed I believe it's $7500 and for my state it's $8500.

For Fed I have cell H25 calculating .60% of the gross pay in cell H7. I need this to stop calculating that amount once cell J7 reaches >$7500.
For State I have cell H26 calculating 2.6% of the gross pay in cell H7 and need that calculation to stop when cell J7 reaches >$8500.

The caveat here is that I still need it to calculate up to those amounts, just not over.

I'm not sure that a simple calculation can do this and I really don't want to play with scripts...lol

Thank you for any help!
