Is anyone having the issue of stock data not updating?
I also noticed they moved the Stock Data type off the DATA tab.
Formulas like =AAPL.Price etc... not updating. I'm getting last Fridays prices.
Is some update going on?

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
It's working for me. I still show Stock Data under the DATA ribbon.

Price in B2 is price today 1/6/25 around 4pm.
Price in B3 is closing price of last Friday 1/3/25.
Book1
ABC
2APPLE INC. (XNAS:AAPL)$ 245.001/6/2025
3=STOCKHISTORY("AAPL","1/3/25",,,0,1)$ 243.361/3/2025
Sheet2
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
B2B2=A2.Price
A3A3=FORMULATEXT(B3)
B3B3=STOCKHISTORY("AAPL","1/3/25",,,0,1)

What release are you on? I am on insider release 2501 as of Jan 2, 2025 and it is no longer available. I believe although not entirely positive on this that MS is moving to Copilot to track holdings. Here is what my latest ribbon looks like. StockHistory works for a date range but not current price only.

Yes, I'm on Version 2501
Guess I'll start using an add-in
