I have a sheet that contains dashes (-) in the numbers in on particular column. I need to get rid of the dashes but there is no consistency to where they are located. Is there a formula that will simply strip the character out regardless of where it is located in the field? For example:

SY-CR000-22653-13 would become SYCR0002265313
SY-TY01-5555521-000 would become SYTY015555521000

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

Welcome to the MrExcel board!

If you don't want/need the data still in its original form ...

1. Select the column by clicking its heading label.

2. Edit|Replace...|Find what: - | Replace with: leave blank|Replace All|OK|Close
