Hello to all,

This is what I'm trying to create.
I want Macro to start automatically and delete the cell A1 content whenever in cell A1 is entered something different then 1, 2, 3 (or when it's empty).

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
This is worksheet event code.

To install the code:
1. Right-click the worksheet tab you want to apply it to and choose 'View Code'. This will open the VBE window.
2. Copy the code below from your browser window and paste it into the white space in the VBE window.
3. Close the VBE window and Save the workbook. If you are using Excel 2007 or a later version do a SaveAs and save it as a macro-enabled workbook (.xlsm file extension).
4. Make sure you have enabled macros whenever you open the file or the code will not run.
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim c As Range
For Each c In Target
       If Not Intersect(c, Range("A1")) Is Nothing Then
              Select Case c.Value
                     Case 1, 2, 3: Exit Sub
                     Case Else
                            Application.EnableEvents = False
                            c.ClearContents
                            Application.EnableEvents = True
              End Select
       End If
Next c
End Sub

or you can use data validation by limit the input value to whole number between 1 and 3 in cells(1,1).

Data validation can be averted by pasting to the cell or cells that are validated.
