Standardized system of measuring one's Excel ability

I am interviewing for positions and undoubtedly one of the questions that always comes up is "How would you characterize you ability in Excel?"

Until I found this board I would have said average. Against board members here I would say below average given the brilliance of some users.

I was curious if there was a standardized or widely accepted test of Excel that could be used to determine one's ability?
