I'm trying to figure out a formula for my Excel Table to calculate Standard deviation STDEV.S by invoice date Year & Month

If I do a pivot table, and sum the qty by the column (Invoice date by year & month), I get the value I want. The problem is that the formula is outside the pivot table since calculated fields in PT do not work with cells & rows

When I try to enter a formula in my table of data I get a different result, because it the quantity is the exact invoice date.

How do I enter a formula in the table to look at the quantities by year & month?

Also I should mention that this table will be refreshed every so often, so the number of rows will fluctuate. I need the formula to work with this.

See attached image for reference. This item only shows one part, but in reality there are thousands of parts in my table.

Thank you.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
