I have a chart that is created by summing quantities during a given month. Issue is that some months have no activity. How can my visual show all months that are null or 0? I have tried show all with no data selection in Powerbi but that shows all of the months in my dataset. I need to have my chart filtered down to the year selected by the individual.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
You'll need another dataset with all the months, then create a relationship to that or use LOOKUPVALUE to get the data you need against the months.

Not sure if I am doing this right or not. I have my dataset related to my Date table but I still do not get the months without any activity. I am summing a quantity and not counting. Could that make a difference?

Here is my most recent measure:
Lost_Cores = IF(ISBLANK(SUM(tbl_MB51[Quantity])),0,
SUM(tbl_MB51[Quantity]))

When I force the 0 into the measure for a null value my date slicer quits working and I get all of the dates going back to the beginning of my dataset (1/1/2010). My date slicer
works will all my other measure and works with this one until I force the 0. I am at a loss as to why.
