Hi All,

Please I need help in this matter.

I have over than 300 rows.

and I have a column of comments with data in each cells that need split the data in it into 4 columns. or 5

so what am thinking some of the comments have the same name in the column

meaning if there is a way to find serial in the comment copy it and paste under the column serial no,find model copy it and paste under model no,find D and put it under date ,etc.

and to highlight the cells with any color just to know what was pasted because some of the comments does not have the serial, part, model or D in it..which I will handle later (which will be not highlighted)

can some one help find a way to this..even if we can make it column by column

thank you

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
I just want for now to match what in the column with the one in the comments and paste that information under each column..this will be great of help (the data after the ":" )
-if the word serial available in the comments to copy it and paste it under serial (the data after the ":" )
-if the word part available in the comment to paste it under part no (the data after the ":" )
-if the d available to paste the date under date. (the information after ":")
