I am trying to use the formula "=SORT(UNIQUE('Ops Working'!M3:M173))" in a separate sheet to read the sheet titled 'Ops Working" for column M and return unique dates from the list. there should be 7 dates presented (for a 7 day period) however i am getting a spill message. There is a list of names in the column L and the dates they attended in the column M

any clues ???

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
It looks like you must have ...
  1. Values or formulas somewhere in the 6 cells below where the spill message (the formula needs to have blank cells to spill into), and/or
  2. More than 7 values being returned.
If you are still having problems, can you post M3:M173 from 'Ops Working' here with XL2BB

(If you have trouble with XL2BB review the "XL2BB Icons greyed out" link in the 'Known XL2BB issues' section near the top of theXL2BB Instructions page linked above.)

Thank you - found additional values over the 7 and that fixed the problem.
