Specific Roundup

Hi All,

Would be appreciate if there were any Excel sensei here whom can spend a little precious time in drafting a formula for the following case.

I would like to round up a figures into a specific value under a certain benchmark, for example:



if value = 3.10 and below, i would like excel to round it to 2.99
if value = 3.50 and above, i would like excel to round it to 3.99

just to be precise, kindly refer to few more example:
5.10 = 4.99
6.20 = 5.99
7.30 = 6.99
8.40 = 7.99
9.50 = 9.99
10.60 = 10.99
11.70 = 11.99
12.80 = 12.99
13.90 = 13.99
