Spam or other

Quite often I get a notification on a reply to a thread but when I click the link in the email the reply is not there. Two example pasted from the email.

Are these replies spam that is auto deleted? or has a mod/admin cleaned then out?

They were spam posts that were removed by moderators. Your e-mail notifications are "instant" whereas it may take the moderators a few milliseconds to notice and deal with spam

Well then I am disappointed with the Mods, I expect them to be on top of this much quicker, these emails are very disruptive...

Thanks VoG. As usual the Mods on this board are fantiastic and responsive, in fact I have been surprised as the spam would be on, what I thought is, a more obsure post.
