Hello,
Trying to sort my data as follows:
Sorting is based on the Color, for this example White >75% first, when all White >75% are gone then sort for all Blue >75%, When all blue are gone sort for all Red >75%. If no Color is >75% then sort using the color that has the greater %.
In cell B211 I would like the Level and in cell C211 I would like the Portion.
Thank you!!

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi. I don't understand your sort logic. Why is WHITE at the top for Nov-18 ?

Can you please post the ENTIRE results for Nov-18 (not just the first 10 lines), and can you ALSO please post the ENTIRE results for a different month, preferably a month where the data is very different ?

In Excel>Preferences you can create a custom list RED,BLUE,WHITE and sort on that custom list, ascending or descending.

Hi Gerald,
White is on top even though the percentages are less than Blue or Red because White has priority in my data since it is above 75% so I need to use up all the Whites that are above 75% first, then use up all the Blues above 75% and then all the Reds above 75%.
In the image I added two options to Sort Option A and Option B. Option B puts all the Colors that are below 75% in White, Blue, and Red order starting at 75% to 0%. Thank you for helping.

Hi Mile, I Can do that for the colors but not for the percentage above 75%.
In addition, since there are over 40 columns with formulas the custom sort gets messed up.
Perhaps there is a better way to prepare my data in columns by adding a date column.
Still researching.
Thank you for the reply.

Sorry, I still don't understand the sort logic.

You say
White has priority in my data since it is above 75%

What exactly does this mean ?
How exactly are you determining that white is above 75%, and some other colour is not above 75% ?

I can see that in Nov 18, all values for White are above 75%.
But all values for Red in Nov 18 are also above 75%.
So why is White higher priority than Red ?
