Sorting by values in pivot table

Hi all,

I have looked online but can't seem to find an answer to this. I have currently filtered the date by specific year which looks like below. What I am trying to do is use a slicer so that I can choose between dates and also get a text return linked in but I cannot seem to figure out how to sort by YTD, rolling 12m or quarterly since they are values and numeric.

Ideally, I would like to use a text link on a dashboard map. So London will equal A2 which will be January data for YTD, but I want to be able to filter so that I can get the same results for rolling 12m etc.

I current have 'Years' in filter, Under Rows I have date and location and under values YTD, 12 month rolling and quarter ending in the Pivot table

- A pivot table may be converted into a normal table by copying and then using paste special/values. This new table can be useful in some situations.
- To quickly sort a pivot table column, right click a value cell and choose sort. See page below for more information.
- The GETPIVOTDATA worksheet function can be used to transfer individual pivot cells to other locations.
