Hi
I have big sheet but I do not think that is the issue, anyway I want to sort a column which has numbers (1 to 4). I clicked anywhere on that column and then sort from A-Z. the first 43 rows were sorted fine but other rows were not sorted, I would have 1,3,4,1,1,4,3,3 etc
what could cause this issue? It is a big sheet. I tried to highlight all sheet and insert "table" but table option is grayed out. when I click on Inset-Table (without highlighting the whole sheet), excel will insert the dotted line for the table to cover only part of the table!! Also I click on break lines and the sheet divided into 6 pages. I am not sure what cause this issue. I also highlighted the whole sheet and click Clear format but it did not help. Any hint would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
.
Hard to say without seeing the actual worksheet.

Are you able to post the sheet on DropBox, Amazon Cloud or similar ?

Is the column you are trying to sort on hard-coded, or is a formula?
If a formula, what does the formula look like?

Hi
Here is an update. The column is too long. I click on a cell at the end of the column and click Sort. It sorted the lower bottom of the column but not the upper part of the column. So it look like the sheet is broken into sheets. That could be the issue? do you think so? Thank you

It should sort nevertheless.

Sorry to report ... no problems here.

I sorted Col D ( Learning Centre ) Small to Large, Large to Small, By Colors. Sorted other columns in similar fashion.

Everything sorted correctly in way less than one second of time.
