I have categories with certain info. Sometimes the info requires the category to be changed. Can this be done with a formula when I press the enter button?
I couldn't seem to get it to work with the Enter key but F12_Trap_Activate changes the function of the F12 key, so that each time you press it, it runs F12_Proc to cycle the value of the selected cell through the values RED-AMBER-GREEN.
F12_Trap_Deactivate sets F12 back to its normal function (Save As).
Code:
Sub F12_Trap_Activate()
Application.OnKey "{F12}", "F12_Proc"
MsgBox ("F12 Trap On")
End Sub
Sub F12_Trap_Deactivate()
Application.OnKey "{F12}"
MsgBox ("F12 Trap off")
End Sub
Sub F12_Proc()
Select Case UCase(Selection.Formula)
Case Is = "RED"
Selection.Formula = "AMBER"
Case Is = "AMBER"
Selection.Formula = "GREEN"
Case Else
Selection.Formula = "RED"
End Select
End Sub
