How can I set my database to open a table and sort on a certain column on startup. I tried using the startup and autoexec macro's but I must be getting the syntax wrong. I don't know how to use VBA yet.
blc

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Dont display your data in the table. It is best to do it from a form as it gives you proper control of the data being entered.
You can set the sort order of a form anyway you like and you can use the Tools>startup to pick the form to open automaticaly when the db opens.
