Sir,

I Need help on Sorted Unique Values in Data Validation without Helper Column

Kindly advise

Thanks

To my knowledge, if you have a list of items that contains duplicate values and would like to use it as a basis for data validation list there is a need for a helper column because it is not possible to use something like =SORT(UNIQUE(A1:A10)) within Data Validation tab as a formula; on the other hand it is possible to refer to the outcome of that formula, e.g. $B$1#.
