A spreadsheet has grown over time. It has now so many tabs that it is difficult to find what you need.
I have therefore introduced a 'Contents' page with Command Buttons on each row to take the user to the correct sheet.
To make life even easier, I want to sort the contents alphabetically, but how can I also sort the Command Buttons ?

When I do a sort, the buttoms remain unsorted & thus irrelevant

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
The buttons will follow the sort if:

  • For Each button, the FormatControl\ Properties\ Move and size will cells is set
  • You select the column the buttons are in along with the sort column
