Hi, I have two tables on the same sheet.

One has sales information, the other has date information which corresponds to the sale on the same row in table 1.

There is a button on table 1 that will cut and paste a row onto a completed sales sheet. I have then used 'sort' to move the blank row to the bottom.

This works perfectly for a single table, but sorting table 1 misaligned it from table 2.

Is there any way I can sort two tables based on one column so as to maintain their correct positions beside eachother?

E.g. row 1 in each table relates to the same sale.

If the sale is completed, row 1 is cleared in both tables. I would then sort table 1, to being row 2 to the top, but this does no extend to table 2
.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Why do they need to be separate tables? If your records in both tables are linked, shouldn't they be in the same table?
