I just want to say: ARGGGGH!!!!!

I just spent two days PDFing excel files in various directories because my workplace is too cheap to buy one of those programs that does mass PDFing automatically.

And of course, not all the files were "ready to go"... some of them had errors in formulas and lots didn't have the print range set properly... and the guy who had me do this was not around to help so it just further compounded the frustration.

ok... back to your regularly scheduled programming. (sorry for the interruption)

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
How do you PDF them? Always interested in a freeware solution.
I've got Adobe Whatseveritscalled though as well, just don't like it, especially on Excel sheets it often crashes...

I used acrobat writer 5.0

As far as I know, it doesn't allow you to just select multiple files and pdf them into separate pdf files under the same name as the .xls file. Yes, it has batch processing but I looked into that and it's not what I needed. (unless I missed something entirely)

Felix, have you tried using the pdf writer in Open Office? It works for me and the beauty is that it's free....

Tom - we all have days like that sometimes. The only thought I can offer is that tomorrow is another day, and if you don't feel like working then call in sick. Works for me!
Andrew :)
