My old business partner thought comment boxes were a great idea. He is gone and I have these boxes that pop up when you are in a cell. However, they are not normal Excel comment boxes. I don't know what they are called, I can't edit or delete them. I'd prefer to get rid of them all together but don't know how??

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Do you have any code in the workbook?

I'd suspect they are data validation messages. Select one of the cells where they appear, select the Data tab, then Data validation and look at the Input message tab.

RoryA,

THANKS!! You were correct, they are data validation messages. Is there a way to clear all of them from a worksheet in mass or will I have to do them one at a time?
