Hi All,

There are few systems generated excel files that i try to upload it gives an error, I tried to analyse the reason, when I go deep I found these files are showing .htm, .html extension if I try to do save as (F12).

In the next step, I saved these files as .xlsx on the desktop and it worked fine.

My question here is, is there any trick by which power query will accept these files without saving (as excel) or any formula/function which will first convert these files in xlsx and then get uploaded automatically.

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Maybe tackle the root cause. Make sure excel files are generated by the system. Or consider using export as csv over "excel", (which is not genuine Excel, but HTML in your case). Importing many csv is considerably faster then importing many .xlsx.
