Hi All

I am a MIS executive I prepare various excel report .

But i am not a expert.

I have given a new task to create template to calculate total head count required on a given day.

The data i have is total head count , average handling time (AHT) for different task , shrinkage is of 25%
total hours we work is 8 hours with 1 hour of break, total productive hours is 7 hrs

I am planning to use solver tool to perform this task .

But I never used this tool, can some one please help me to learn solver and provide me example for my task??

headcount = AHT * #tasks / 7

I don't know what "shrinkage" means in this context.

Shg shrinkage in this context means allowed people to take a leave on a given day

Ex: suppose my total headcount is 100 employees I have 25% shrinkage so 25 people are allowed to take leave on a given day.
I need this using solver tool can you please help me for the same.
