Is it possible to have solver solve subject to the constraint of using a data validation list?
Better explanation is that I have used the data validation 'list' function for cells B1:B9, of which a value can be picked from a source input into cells A1:A4. I would like to be able to solve for the maximum value of C1 subject to the constraint of B1:B9 equalling one of the inputs from A1:A4.
It may be simple but I can't seem to find a way.
