Highlighting Rows for Ease of Viewing

I work with a lot of worksheets each containing tightly packed data. The eyes can become cross and weary trying to find the cell I need.

Maybe my solution will prevent a headache or two.

So, all of my worksheets now contain a Column A … width 4 and formatted to black type on black background. Typing a number there highlights the row in question. Clear the cell in Column A to remove highlight or clear all of Column A to remove all highlights. Example a 3 in column A highlights the rowl in green while 6 highlights like an an old monitor (green on black).

The columns I wish to highlight have been selected and I apply the following macro to each column:
