I remember seeing a company that made this add-in for Office, but I can't seem to find it now.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Every version of Excel can open Excel files created in older versions of Excel; you don't need any other software for that. The same applies to Word, Access, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Thanks, but I am looking for information about the number of menu commands that the company had to create to work with Excel.

Presumably, then, you're referring to an addin; that would have to be re-written to work as desired with the Ribbon. There are also addins available that give the same kinds of toolbars, etc., that Office 2003 & earlier had, but I would recommend against using any of those; the old toolbars, etc. aren't coming back and you should by now have learnt to use the Ribbon.

Thanks, but I won't be using them, just asking them a question. I had a question on how many menus they had to create to match.

All custom toolbars & commands of old workbooks created in Excel 2002/2003 will appear after opening in Excel 2007+ in the Ribbon's Add-In tab, just find it in that place
