hello does anyone have knowledge of "snowdrop" HRIS?
i need to update the training couses , as they are all sitting in the wrong groups..
ive looked at the datatable and lookup tables but i think its a table in the background that i need to update..
i have db access rights but just need to know which file i should be updating.. any ideas> someone was doing this role before but they have just left the company overnight after wiinningthe lotto? and know im stuck in this role with no manuals or user guides..
thanks for the help.

the course details are stored on the trainrec table.. should i be looking for a ini. or exe file?

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Given the SQL code that you provided in the Access forum I'm guessing that Snowdrop uses SQL Server or another database as the data store; all you see in Snowdrop itself are the forms that interact with the database.

I think you need to find where the database is located; it will be on a server, and your IT guys may be able to help out. Whether or not they will let you play with it depends on whatever policies they have in place.

Isn't this product supplied by a company/vendor?

Call me crazy but have you contacted them?

Perhaps you should also have a look and see if you have (or did have) any sort of maintenance/support contract with them.

They did have phone numbers and email addresses on the link I posted.

Perhaps in this time of recession they might be looking for a bit of business to come their way.:)
