Slide your way through excel: VBA

Currently, I am "reading" Power Programming and I am scheduled to attend the power excel macro class next week in Akron...

Would the cd's slide your way through excel: VBA be a good addition or is there a "better" way to speed up the process of learning VBA?

This is a biased answer....

When Tracy and I set out to write VBA & Macros for Microsoft Excel, I was aiming at the gap in learning before John's Power Programming book. I assume that you know Excel really well, tried to record a macro or two, and realize the macro recorder doesn't work.

So, for your first steps up the learning curve, I recommend getting VBA & Macros for Microsoft Excel (which you will receive in the class - can I get it to you early?).

Another great resource is to watch the answers posted here in the message board. A lot of great VBA is right here.

The CD's mentioned are excellent if you are a highly visual learner. They are in full color - lots of screenshots and little text. They are an excellent resource as well.
