I'm very familiar with pivot tables, slicers and dashboarding, but looking for some guidance regarding data source setup and configuration. Our data sources are updated daily, and I'd like to know the best way to connect slicers to the data source to use 'refreshed'/updated data... currently we have to do the following each time:
> unhook all slicers (15) connected to pivot tables (15)
> append new data records (to Access) or refresh Powerpivot
> reconnect all slicer-pivot table connections

The process is obviously time consuming, and wondering best practices for this?

Thanks
