Hey guys,
I have a multiple tables linked together through an auxiliary table since Power Pivot doesn't allow "many-to-many" relationship. So, table A have this "Destination" column where it lists out countries in its field. Table B is this auxiliary table. Table C also have "Destination" column but they are a mix of countries (from outside of SEA region) and a "Southeast Asia" region.
The existing database didn't split up the "Southeast Asia" region into respective countries in the region, i.e. Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia etc. Hence, the issue is that how should I approach this issue into connecting these three tables?
Basically, if I select the "Southeast Asia" slicer (created from Auxiliary table), I would expect to see data corresponding to those countries in table C. How should I go about and create this?
One solution I have in mind is to create another table comprising of SEA region only but I feel it's a really roundabout way. If there's a neat solution to this, please advise! Thank you
