Hi

This seems quite simple but I can't seem to find a way of doing it or the correct terminology to search for it.

But basically I have the following

2 Sheets

On sheet 1 I need

In cell A10 = Sheet 2 A8
In cell A11 = A10
In cell A12 = A10

In cell A13 = Sheet 2 A9
In cell A14 = A13
In cell A15 = A13

And so on, so when i copy it down it copies 3 cells down but only moves the reference down one on Sheet 2

Thanks

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Try this

in Sheet1!A10
=IF(MOD(ROW()-10,3)=0,INDEX(Sheet2!A$8:A$1000,INT((ROW()-10))/3+1,),INDEX(A$10:A$1000,INT((ROW()-10)/3)*3+1,1))
and copy down the column

Adjust the range as required, currently goes as far as row 1000
