Size of Field

I have a appendquery to fill a memofield.
When i put more than 127 signs in a form with a Unbound field and stard the appendquery i get a error. (Invalid Argument)

What do you mean by 'signs'?

After running the updatequery i get the error.
When i put less than 127 caracters there is no problem, when more then 127 caracters i get the error "Invalid Argument"
There is no more code.
