Evening.

I have searched the forum but could not find the answer.

How do I prevent a formula when searching for a 1 picking up say 12 for example?

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
What do you want that formula to return?

It will return 1 from any string that contanins the numeral "1", like "ab1xz" and "ab123"

What do you want it to return?
