I am trying to create a basic scatterplot.

I have a column of USD and a column of months - specified in 1,2,3,4 etc(1 stands for Jan and so forth).

I create the Chart and have USD on the X and Month in the Y Axis.

How do I go about getting the average USD for month 1, the average USD for month 2 etc? I thought it would automatically plot the unique values against the average. The Y axis contains 5000, 10000 and I'm not really sure where they came from, they are not contained in the specified Month Column.

Thanks.

Hi, do you want the mean within a new table?

Or do you want to see the average in your chart?
