I'm new to excel so please bare with what is probably such a basic question for you folks.
I would just like to create a simple cell formula that works like this....

"If I enter the number 1 into a cell then the next cell to the right will display $4.00"
"If I enter the number 2 into a cell then the next cell to the right will display $6.00"

I know this is probably pretty basic, but I'm having a heck of time digging through the info on formulas.

Thanks much - I appreciate your help

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Just one more thing

Though the formula worked great but it leaves this: #VALUE! in the field. I assume it's waiting for the input in the left field.

I need to have the result field empty (not showing anything) until I input into the left.

What do ya think?

thanks
