I just want to know, how to open a new worksheet in vb and then send specific data from a db to specific cels, rows in an excel worksheet. This has got to be really easy but I just can't figure it out. My DB is in SQL if that really matters but it should not.

What I will do is create a query to get the specific date and then I just want to export that data to an excel worksheet.

Any simple sample code or quick explaination will be great

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Will not MS Query work? You can return data directly into your Excel sheet from a SQL database. You can set it to run on opening, manually, or whenever a specific cell value changes.

MS Query wont really work, I get this info from any other program, and in that program i want them to send the info from this program to an excel worksheet, I don't want them to run Excel at all until they want to actually view the information sent to excel, the worksheet will be something like a printed document that can be edited.
