Simple IF statement? Maybe not. Help!!

I need a formula that will satisfy this logic statement: If D2 = 1, subtract B3 from B2 and multiply the results by 1440. If D2 does not = 1, enter XXX. The answer goes in E2.

Obviously I was way overthinking this. The actual problem I am working on has so many other variable that I was in the weeds. thank you!
