Simple IF Function?

Hi,

Looking for a simple IF function, I hope lol.

If cell A1 is popluated with the word "Can" I want the cell that this formula is in (B1) to populate with the data listed in A2. The only thing I can come up with is IF=(A1=Can,B1=A2), but that doesn't work.

Any help is greatly appreciated
