Simple graph with offset origin

I want to create a simple line graph in Excel with the below data.
Instead of the usual origin at (0,0),
My X-axis must start at 4.0 and end at 13.0
My Y axis must start at 9000 and end at 6500.

Unable to understand how Excel creates the graphs...Please help...

Hi

If I understand correctly you have a series of (X,Y) points that you want to chart. That's not a line chart, that's a scatter chart.

Create a scatter chart with those points and then right click on the axes and set the max and min values.
