Hey guys,

I have column with 500 repeated formulas.

The formula is

=IFERROR(IF('052'!E44="","",'052'!E44),"")

BUT....the E44 is different on each line with no sequential order. I need to remove the "IFERROR(" and ,"") from every line without effecting the IF formula criteria.

any help?!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Thanks for your reply.

however all this does is replaces the whole forumula but I need to retain the nested IF formula

Use find & replace,
replace =IFERROR(
with '

replace
,"")
with ""

replace '
with =

You are asked to modify the first instance of the formula and drag down the modified formula by applying double click on the fil handle of the cell of the first instance.

@Aladin Akyurek - I do not think the OP wants the cell reference to change from what is in the original formula

=IFERROR(IF('052'!E44="","",'052'!E44),"")

BUT....the E44 is different on each line with no sequential order. I need to remove the "IFERROR(" and ,"") from every line without effecting the IF formula criteria.

OP has this situation
row 10 is =IFERROR(IF('052'!E44="","",'052'!E44),"")
row 11 is =IFERROR(IF('052'!E100="","",'052'!E100),"")

Your suggestion using fill Handle
row 10 =IF('052'!E44="","",'052'!E44)
row 11 =IF('052'!E45="","",'052'!E45)

OP wants
row 10 =IF('052'!E44="","",'052'!E44)
row 11 =IF('052'!E100="","",'052'!E100)

@asjmoron please confirm this is what you want

@yongle yes thats exactly what a I need.

@gaz_chops I did try find and relace but as it removes part of the formula, it then errors and does not allow the changes to be made.

If you do it in the steps as I suggested, then it will work. By removing the = sign it becomes text, then the last step is to add the = sign back.
