Simple date matching with stock prices.

Hello,

I have 2 columns of dates. The first column has all of the dates in the year and the second has dates where the stock market was open, next to which are stock prices. I would like to have the stock prices appear next to the first column where the dates match and on days where there is no stock price simply input a " - ".

I'm sure this is extremely simple, however I'm not sure how to go about it.
Any advice is appreciated.

Post a sample spreadsheet with expected results, remove any sensitive data, create a mockup example if necessary.

I would like the PRICE column to respond to the CLOSE price data and display it in the correct column on the correct days. On days where there is no market open, such as 2000-01-03, display "N/A".

I meant to write: display the CLOSE data in the PRICE column only on the days where there is MARKET OPEN.
