Hi,

I am totally new in Ms Access and dont know how to use it?

Me along with 4 other users are working on an excel sheet mutually with "Share workbook" function but excel usually stuck up when there are large entries?

Can anyone suggest a way out how to enter data in Ms Access and give access to multi users to simultaneously update that file?

Thanks in advance.

regards,

Check out utter access. Sign up and someone there can help you with MS Access. Although excel could be shared among many users it has limitations. Access is a database whereas Excel is a spreadsheet. They have different applications. Good luck!

Access will by nature be multiuser so having 5 users will probably not be an issue and I don't think you will have to do anything special to make it work. That said, setting up a database can be more work and require more training, unlike Excel. A lot depends on what you are actually doing with the spreadsheet, which would determine the setup for how you might put that into a database instead.
