Signature in Excel Sheet

I have a question about signing an excel sheet (or even workbook) with a (digital) signature.

The customer (internal to the company) signs this excelsheet which is produced and presented by the repair technician on the spot. These technicians are all equiped with a PC or have access to a PC. The solution of signing the document does not to be waterproof i.e. the risk of fraud is minimal, but authentication is important.

So I was thinking of an USB Fringerprint Reader such as http://www.upek.com/solutions/eikon/default.asp

It is simple in its use and affordable for the price it costs.
Does anybody have an experience of integrating a device like this in VBA?
Can you think of another solution?
Did you integrate a fingerprintreader of a different make in VBA?

All suggestions are welcome.

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
