I have a report where a school department has a series of required and not required courses. Basically I have a report that looks like this

Student #1
___________
LAI514 FA03 A+
CEP506 Not taken yet
LAI574 SP03 B+
.
.
Student #2
_____________
LAI514 FA02 C-
CEP506 Not taken yet
LAI574 Not taken yet
etc

I am querying the complete list of students, so want to check if this course for this one person exists, if it does print out the grade and semester that it was taken, otherwise print out nothing.

Thanks.

Re: Showing information in report if a certain condition is

I believe that you must post an actual spreadsheet example, with data identified as to what cell each one is in, if somebody is to try to help you out.

Re: Showing information in report if a certain condition is

The format of the data that I am working with is in columns like this, in order by personnumber.

Department|CourseNumber|Semester|PersonNumber|Grade

Again, in the report, the program has a set number of courses, the list of course does not change.

hope this helps.
